Yes, that seems retarded so let me explain, since *most* of us have the ability to shop online *most* of the goods conventions offer are essentially the same, apart from con exclusives, rare finds or cheaper prices.
I went with friends to a con once and they were loading up on manga they thought was "cheap", cheap yes by our countries standards, not compared to bulk ordering from overseas, I myself only bought 3 things, con exclusives and one item that I simply missed the pre-order window for that I wanted in a condition that I couldn't even trust mandarake for (because of the paint finish), I did want some artist made goods but sadly nothing of interest caught my eye.
Do you make your purchases based on factors such as price, availability, import limitations, or just impulse because you're out somewhere and couldn't resist?
