I know some flips do it. they have customers that are rich enough to buy gunpla and build it themselves but poor enough to paint it because their home cannot accomodate it, so they commision a painter to paint the gunpla in their desired paint scheme and the prices scale up if you want it customized.
so yeah, it is a really good business.
