Yeah Japanese and Chinese companies definitely do cuteness better. However, the cons with Japanese plushies are the expense to size ratio and their textures are often bleh. At least with Disney ones, a soft texture is almost always guaranteed for a generally cheap price even if the aesthetic is not as good. It all comes down to a person's priorities.

It's interesting how bootlegs can be. Some look worse than original merchandise but other times they can be way better. Pic related.
I know how prices can be a limiting thing in plush collecting. If I could, I'd get plush anime girls since I like their aesthetics but often times the ones that are a decent size to hug are crazy expensive.
