In-show Tigatron's chest, arms, and pelvis were the same size as Cheetor, but his beast legs(and thus robot legs) and head were larger. The could reuse the main complex part of the engineering and just change the extremities since those could be any size and still work with he transformation.
what is interesting, though, is that it seems to use the actual Beast Head and not a fake one like Cheetor or Dinobot. MP Cheetor's beast head actually tucks behind the back, I'm guessing with this one they forgo having a robot torso and instead the beast head goes through the front. Makes it way more pleasing.
