RG Nu will look amazing without panel lining and again you can always come back to that later. Nubs aren't the end of the world and being an RG doesn't increase the 'difficulty' of any of the shit you mentioned. Remember these are toys for children, you as a modeler can take it to the next level but there's nothing magic about RG thats "FOR HARDCODE MODELERS ONLY"
Shit compared to other model kits where you actually have to glue shit together RG is child's play
