>>10497153Okay, I’ll give them that. Some of those cartoons still followed the older cartooning principles of design with having a character from more than three angles. Ironically, the Powerpuff Girls were an easy thing to translate due to how simple their designs were, but it’s the later years that non-cgi western cartoons simplified designs of the head and face to only need 2-3 angles of the face and never giving a full 360deg view, looking like something from a Picasso painting. Not all of them went this way and even today there are still series that can translate character designs to 3D without looking bizarre. Hell, even the rare ‘gas-blasters’ Ed Edd ‘n Eddy toys managed to make semi-decent 3D versions of the Eds. Clone High though doesn’t seem possible. I also stand corrected on Cie and Chicken, Cults3D has a few 3D renders of the two, even one of Chicken as the Ugliest Weenie, and it’s spot-on.
