>>7050618you don't even know what hubris is and that isn't my point either.
Here's what i said:
>>7045914 →> It's why Tarkin didn't evacuate when he had the chance in New Hope >The guy was in the most safety place to be in the entire galaxy, armored and shielded to deflect a physical blow from god himself, with defenses and fighters wiping out entire wings of enemy tighters, who needed to make a one in a billion shot that needed to turn 90° to get inside a tiny port.>You're basically telling the guys in this tank to get the fuck out because this kid might blow it up.And what hubris means
>exaggerated pride or self-confidenceWhere's the the exaggerated pride and self confidence of sitting in your office watching the enemies being taken down exactly the way they're meant to go down?
Is it hubris for the soldiers in the tank to NOT shoot the kid because they don't think he's a danger?
I was only using the tank analogy to help you understand how uneven the fight is but you're the apparent reason why analogies aren't used in schools anymore. dem too hard 4 u.
Here's another great analogy: it's like eating a peanut butter jelly sandwich and your sister comes up to tell you that you're going to break your teeth that away. Would you totally take her advice, because MAYBE?!? Do you call it hubris when you bite into the bread, only to find a rock somehow got into the jelly and your molar snaps? Such overconfidence that you believe you could eat a soft sandwich without breaking your teeth.
