Reposting from the custom thread: I don't have much experience with customs and I've been thinking making a custom Clampdown figure (the G1 repaint in my pic) primarily by switching his head with Sideswipe as I primarily want to avoid painting the head due to some eyesight problems making long term focusing painful. That and my crap eyesight would make the head sloppy and the head is the important part of the figure. I'd probably repaint the thighs red but that's it. Hoping for a toyhax set in the future but for now that would do.
Can the Siege Sideswipe/Red Alert mold head be swapped without breaking it? If so, I'd use the now all-red Sideswipe as a G1 version of Prime's Knockout by adding some Decepticon stickers.
