>>7206507>What is an upgrade to the iwata hp cs?Depends on what you mean by "upgrade".
Iwata HP CS Eclipse is a great all purpose brush and it is especially great for priming because of how easy it is to clean (and you'll want to clean really thoroughly after priming).
0.5mm nozzle for Eclipse is a nice option but you are not going use it as often as you may think.
There are higher end Iwatas (HP+, HiLine, etc) which are better but also harder to clean.
The brush that is a noticeable step up from the Eclipse AND is as easy to maintain would be Custom Micron (~$600). Creos has a clone of it (PS770) that is ~1/3 of the Iwata's price. It is my favorite brush at the moment.
If you want an Iwata for detail work and don't need bells and whistles, HP-B+ is a great brush (my second favorite) and it's ~$150.

You want more than one brush for different tasks, not for different types of paint. The only exception is when you load multiple brushes with different colors and switch between them to save paint.
