The problem with the line is that you can literally build the sets with regular bricks, like the chassis to the vehicles or the support beams to the buildings, but instead they were just single pieces that were extremely clunky and they made customization harder to do. It's funny, because the main gimmick of the Hero was that he would think outside of the box and make alternate builds from the sets to save the day, but again, due to the specialized pieces customizing the sets was actually less versatile than if they contained standard smaller parts. While the different style wasn't that bad if you ask me, the fact that they were glued together and you couldn't even swap out the legs or heads just made them less appealing. The whole point of Lego is making things, and Jack Stone made doing so less fun by making such big, useless pieces.
