I once made a flat Imperial Aquila wing and when I unwrapped it, it was heavily malformed and misproportioned where it should had been the same in both the 3D view window and the UV/Image editor.
I'm using both 2.4 and 2.7 and they both give me such errors. Some times different from one another, but still errors.
