The reason DBZ Generals specifically are shit is because there are so many fucking characters in the series.
There are still dozens of unique characters and transformations that need to be released between five different series (DB / DBZ / DB Movies / DBGT / DBS).
It's like trying to clash 5 Fan Bases that love the "you can't pose" meme and expecting them to all get along. And now you have the Dragon Star & Figure-Rise invading with polarizing opinions on quality and comparisons with S.H. Figuarts.
