The way OP phrased the subject makes it sound like it should be less your own grail and more somebody else's grail that you've managed to obtain by coincidence or put luck or something. The TMNT Mini Mutants Cyber Jet for example is a toy that I do own, and it's probably on some hardcore TMNT fan's most wanted list, but for me it's just another childhood toy.
But my actual grail would probably be either pic related or Scorponok. While I eventually discovered the prices for the latter weren't crazy enough to make him seem like an impossible fantasy, Fort Max most definitely fit the bill, so when the reissue was announced, I didn't even think about whether I should pre-order it or not; that decision had been made a long time ago.
