>>8732210 (Cont.)>With mind in the state of disarray due to memories and personality of Optimus Prime being mixed with those of a Seeker, whose only defining trait was unusual veneration for the great Decepticon warship, a lot of time passed before the clone fully came online, and then the first words he uttered were: "I am... Nemesis... Prime".>Some would call Nemesis Prime an evil Optimus Prime, although "Decepticon who thinks he used to be Optimus" would be more appropriate. With a body based on one of the older forms of Optimus, Nemesis is not as strong and agile as the Autobot leader, but his potent arm-mounted blasters and jetpack granting limited flight ability, to which he has natural aptitude due to his past incarnation, more than make up for the difference in fighting ability, easily placing him among the strongest Decepticon warriors.Initially, Megatron wanted to use him for psychological warfare against the Autobots, but he quickly realised, in a rare moment of self-awareness, that keeping around a clone of his archenemy would be too much for his fragile ego. Thus Nemesis, with his patchy code of honor and tendency to go on long and lofty monologues, was assigned as the leader of a small team in remote part of Cybertron dealing in equal parts with Autobots, rogue Decepticons and unaffiliated bandits. His prowess on the batlefield has earned him a moniker of "Scourge of the badlands", but on rare occasions Nemesis becomes so absorbed with fighting that he loses himself and truly believes he's Optimus Prime himself. At these times only the sight of his empty chest brings him back to reality.
