As for scale the only way I could see that working is either having the Bots be larger, or shrinking the humans down to 1.5 inch scale which given the last time Hasbro tried something that small we got the god awful GOTG 2 figures which were just pain. If Hasbro can't get their shit together at 2.5 inches, Primus help us if they go smaller.
Although maybe having 3.75 inch figures that are heavier on detail and packing in 1.5 static figures that scale with the bots for the sake of display might be an idea. After all it's not like the figures would need much in the way of accessories.
