>>9825889I think they feel the need to justify the color deco, not just going with any unusual colors they can come up with. This glitched BB is the closest to something you're thinking of--but it has precedent given the suit glitching out.
Also as mostly reuse of molds, they don't expect the rereleases to sell as well but its a way to get the characters to people who want them but miss them at Target because Target had the exclusive on the first version of all of the BB figures
