Well, I guess Converge is sorta that, it's been around for ages and keeps chuggin along. But they're too small for my tastes, and have no articulation.
Assault Kingdom was the best of them all, I'm still sad they killed it. Universal Unit was like a slightly worse version of AK, and they killed that quickly. And now we have G-Frame, a clumsy, stupid line that forces you to find and buy two boxes to make a single complete figure, has weird proportions and styling, and is just big and pricey enough that you wonder what the fuck you're doing and why you didn't just buy a HG kit instead. It's baffling.
