>>6297471So I asked my Japanese girlfriend to read and translate this for me. This is not really a Body-chan "version 2". These are the first in a line of Body-kun and Body-chan figures produced by manga artists. The first set is a Body-chan produced by manga artist Kentaro Yabuki (矢吹健太朗) and a Body-kun produced by manga artist Rihito Takarai (宝井理人). Presumably they are based on body proportions they like to draw?
That being said, I googled the works of Kentaro Yabuki and can't really get a fix on any specific proportions he likes. The girls he draws seem to be all over the place and fairly average/generic.
Anyway, thought you guys might want to know.
