I like to mod and sometimes even "restore" Hot Wheels. I own a cheap airbrush, but setting it up and using it is such a hassle for me that I generally choose to use brushes instead. Not as smooth finish, but instead I get to do something relaxing and enjoyable.
I use whatever I can get, I grabbed some decals from a Revell fighter jet kit to make this "racing" '70 GTO. This was a thrift store pickup, so the wheels were faded so they required repainting, and the whole thing was blue with flames originally. There's just something about an orange Pontiac that feels so right.
