>>8030429>The toy company isn't going to reward me personally for being such a good consumerOf course not, but you're only going to increase the chance of xenos and daemons being made if you buy something to show there's interest in the development of the series.
How much is a xenos or daemon worth it to you?
What other company out there has a proven track record of trying to use every little last bit from the license? McFarlane is also known for actually putting money into producing more molds, so he's not like Joyride or Hasbro, where waves are purposely limited because they don't want to invest molds that can only be used for easily redecoed shit. McFarlane isn't afraid of doing one and done molds.
Honestly, just buying one figure is enough to improve your chances. But it is just a chance, because everyone else has to do this to show there's demand for fully featured toyline.
Nevermind we don't know the exact details on the license, but again, McFarlane likes to go wild and his sales expectations aren't as high as Hasbro (tens of thousands vs hundreds of thousands).
If anything, you could just resell your space marine years later for more than double of what you paid. Shit like this usually gets expensive fast. Stuff like his Titanfall mech goes for insane prices or like $50 used. His Halo shit goes for way too much too.
