>>8486051Because of this anon, I bought a pack this week. Feelings are..mixed. On one hand, it's pretty fun, and I like the creation I came up with--it's genuinely kind of spooky looking. And the fiber optics are just as cool as I'd hoped.
On the other hand, I do understand why kids and parents are complaining. I have to sort of handle my build gently, the balljoints pop apart far too easily for a kids toy. And I think there aren't nearly enough sockets to get really creative, and there's a distinct lack of certain types of connectors (socket to socket is especially lacking).
This is a good concept that could have been great with some tweaks. Maybe it'll be more fun if I get more parts, but I'm not sure I want to take that plunge at this time.
