What you're remembering is people painting that shit on their minis, which they also still mould onto stuff, just not marines because Primaris cannot be ostentatious in the way the old good marines are. Once again to point out the same fucking thing I've been doing this whole time, this is the original Grey Knight style. The letters are completely illegible because sculpting text at that size was infeasible. The artwork from that era had the same ARMOR VICTORY DEATH XENOS shit in their armor. Nothing has changed. There is alot to shit on modern 40k for but complaining that GKs look like GKs is fucking retarded.
