>>11243951Understood, then thinning them was the correct choice, but maybe not for metallic colors they behave differently. I haven't tried thinning those ones but they tend to be strange. Thing is, if you had bought eg Model Air, they are already basically the perfect consistency for brush painting.
The labeling on those paints is mad old though (see updated bottles and labels here), with the exception of the Mecha Black, so it's reasonably likely that your paints are not as good as they once were. Make sure you actually mix them properly before you start thinning them. Shake them vigorously for a long time. You post on 4ch so you and I both know one of your arms is used to this motion for prolonged periods of time. If you try to thin improperly mixed paint, you'll get those kinda thin and weak messy results you got on the plane because the pigment isn't thoroughly dissolved into the whole paint. I can recommend dropping a couple of small glass beads into the paint to help the mixing process
