I've only seen this effect on Soviet shermans and they tend to vary from tank to tank from not too much to the entire back half of the tank is covered like pic related. I decided to go for the latter since it looks more visually interesting.
>Does the gun barrel recoil inside of the mantlet or what's with the chrome rim? Yeah, most 76 shermans from references I've seen have that little bit of shiny metal from the constant recoil of the barrel into the mantlet.
