I remember this from years ago when I first encountered it firsthand, glad someone saved a scan of the card. So this pic requires explaining to anyone who didn't actually own the figure - notice how he's holding the grip really low? There's a peg there but it's not for holding, it's to connect with other figure's weapons to make a super one. Apparently they didn't tell the box art photographer that and he posed the figure wrong. Look super closely and you'll see the underside of the back of the gun has a hollowed out spot with a tab in it. The tab fits in the toy's hand. Basically the gun is supposed to be a giant arm cannon.
