I see a clunky, but charming attempt at an ant, with all the downsides toys of that era had. Obvious arms in plain sight poorly disguised as legs, weirdly proportioned body and a gimmick stuck on it's ass.
Below there is a slightly too round, but far more concise ant, with no visible robot pieces and hiding a vastly superior robot mode.
