You're not impressing anyone with this shit.Transformers tend to be a clusterfuck no matter what you do, because they're almost always brightly colored, with no unifying color theme among any of them beyond "Autobots=Red/white/blue predominantly" and "Decepticons=Purple somewhere maybe", and they don't even follow those rules very often even between the same group. Then you remember that most of them have some kind of clusterfuck of shit hanging off their arms/back/whatever, and said clusterfuck of shit is ALSO sometimes defining of a character so you can't even get rid of it, design-wise, like Grimlock's "wings", or Prowl's door wings, or Overlords giant fucking shoulder pauldrons, or the sheer clusterfuck that is Blitzwing's back mess of wings and tank turrets and what have you, etc.
tl;dr Transformers are very visually "noisy" and when grouped usually look like ass because of it.
