I'm from europe and here we dont have such a big "NERF" community and i personally never saw any person of my age or older having a nerf.
I got nerfs just because i like funny looking guns like in videogames and i like them as "fidget toys" - to shot at action figures or cans (like Home Alone kid was shooting toy soldiers with his toy rifle in the first movie - i like to relax doing stuff like that)
I looked up the rules and behaviours of Nerf community and holy shit it's so awful.
