Current state of the hull after some enamel mud in some areas. Now some pigments and it will be finished. The turret still needs a lot of work but this is getting tiresome and before I get fed up with the buil I prefer to rush and finish it. So I'll wrap this up this week or whenever I have time for a long session.
I think most people that start kits and then add PE and aftermarket gets most build or starts painting and then can the project or just disappear into the night after a really good build blog (not that I compare to their skills tho) is because it dragged on for too long and got "bored". Does it happen to some of you or I have some kind of scale model ADD? When I feel the apathy kicking in I just step on the gas and wrap it up before it's too late
>>6130541Nice you got back with the ship builds. About the gap, if you mean te one between the base and the hull I think that the best would be to let the acrylic resin fill the gap and build layers if there is a sink mark, also it might happen (pretty bad luck for it to happen tho) that the resin goes under the ship raising it and getting everywhere. You can also add some sawdust or similar between the ship and the base as filler and then pour a thin layer so it acts like a bonding agent. But being a small scale with playing around a bit with the resin will be enough I think
