I always felt like Tad's threads were a neutral ground. I lurked mostly, but there was a few times I contributed. That feels like a lifetime ago. Wish I could find those old pics. I figured he was just taking a break, but sometimes things hit unexpectedly. I've been posting here since around 2015, and in that time I've had my own set of life changes, tragedies, etc. Even recently, a best friend passing away, then my grandfather - then losing a job. Eventually i recovered, settled down with someone I have a strong connection with myself and I feel like these threads have always been here. Tad's threads were always uplifting and fun and hit in a way that even made the shittiest posters (some minor trolling aside) just get along for a while. It's so strange that someone with wholesome energy coming into such a vile place could shine one of the biggest lights. Pic somewhat related, i think it's one of the few posts I actually contributed.
We didn't interact much at all, but I'll miss ya, bud. I hope things are good on the other side.
