>>8240173Yes, parts COULD crack even back then but most of the time it was because we were playing with them like total assholes, banging our sets together or did some ridiculous constructions that couldn't handle those connections and even then the cracking didn't happen until much later, sometimes after years and years.
The only big exception were (and still are) the infamous droid arms that cracked by the dozens even back then to the point where I wonder why they never tried to mould them in a different, more bendable material.
Meanwhile these days you get shit like pic related that happens mere months or even weeks after building the set and not really doing anything ridiculous with it or even anything at all.
