So I 3D printed joints. It's a two piece recreation of the Japanese hobby joints instead of 3.
How does one get around grinding? After some effort to get the two pieces together (after repeated failed prints and model tweaking), it took only a couple bends for the joints to become loose.
Currently, pic related are printed with Elegoo's ABS Like resin with a 20% mix of Siraya Tech Tenacious. It feels kind of chalky and really susceptible to scratches. Breaks pretty easily without too much effort when bent perpendicular to to the rotation
Any resin or design recommendation for joints?
I've recasted similar joints using smooth-on smooth casts and they held up much better even with poor molds.
