Been working on getting that one upgrade kit for Arcee printed and I've finally got all the parts done! Haven't assembled everything but what I have fits together pretty well, especially for a resin print of a kit designed for FDM. Only parts that flat out don't work are the window inserts, being as they are incredibly thin flat sheets, but they're unnecessary anyway as I can just paint the windows.
Going to be doing her into a sort of Southern Belle/Daisy Duke version (Arkansas-cee?) possibly complete with Confederate battle flag decal on the roof ala the General Lee. I have the decal anyway, just need to decide whether to use it. I've repainted her hips to look like she's wearing denim cutoffs, albeit anodized metal ones.
I'm wondering whether I should paint the pink vehicle shell? I like painted car shells and it might make decal application easier, but the pink resin colour is already quite nice and leaving it as bare resin and just painting the details would avoid paint chipping. I don't want to exactly match the plastic pink, as I quite like the two-tone effect.
