>>10261907Early Zvezda kits were hell. I built the BA-6 and the rubber wheels were hard as shit and the inner diameter was too small for the rims. Even after heating them up to get them on they got so tight when they cooled they cracked the plastic. And the KV-1 had vinyl tracks that were too short to make it all the way around by a significant amount - like an inch plus.
SKIF kits with crumbly plastic, resin conversion kits literally smeared with lard as mold release, I once had pic related and the instructions were diagrammed by a drunk peasant with only string to use for a ruler and made no sense. To this day I'm not even sure the included sprues were for the correct vehicle because there was no logic to any of it.
