>>7561388>They don't. They do.
There were 5 different Figuart faces posted in this thread and every single one has the low resolution print being used for the face.

Every single one has BARE PLASTIC showing inbetween the low res dots that don't completely cover the eyes, lips, like REAL paint apps do. That Tony Stark has bare plastic dot right in the center of his pupil.
Look at Harry Potter here. They use the same low resolution dots on the glasses. All those little dots with bare plastic showing inbetween the dots, just like his eyebrows. Are his glasses supposed to be made out of hair?
Again, Hasbro and DCC both give the eyes and lips real paint apps. they're spending more money on their $20-25 toys by layering paint and adding the low resolution dots as highlights, shading, etc to enhance the paint jobs. In DCC's case, they have top tier quality control to ensure everything looks great.
Whereas Bandai cheaps out on their $80 figures, not spending money for spray apps and tampographs, instead relying almost solely on the low resolution print, creating a washed out looking face because the dpi is so low resolution with bare plastic showing through important parts of the face, like making glasses look like they're made of hair.
