I still do that and, despite me being a dumbass when it comes to moc, I sometimes end up creating something I'll sure enjoy playing or posing with.
But that's me because I've truly never been that interested in the lore, especially after so many retarded shit like secret organizations or alternative realities. Those canon contests seem to be just a huge clusterfuck that makes everyone fight each other over who gets to be in Biosector as part of a discontinued story.
