I'm posting this only partially to shamelessly promote my own video I just made, but also to discouraging all this stupid Leak talk and blah blah who cares about the French, fuck em. Well okay thats not entirely true, Bluecoats are my favorite Pirate faction after Islanders, but fuck non-yellow Frenchy. I wanna talk classic Lego, not corporate shilling and wanking about "cool thing in media" sets. So I'm being the chnage I want.
What's your favorite themes? Favorite factions? Do you have a preferred animal mold? Did you have any classic Western sets? Did you have one you always wanted but never got? Rapid River Village is my personal white whale. I never got big sets as a kid and I've never found it used as an adult.
Rebuilding and playing with this Raindance Ridge set was a joy and I really like the play feature, as good as I remembered, even if a little more stupid than nostalgia colored it. It breaks my heart knowing Lego will never do it again, but I hope and pray all the same.
