Ken has been around since the very beginning. If any character is an "accessory" it would be the ethnic variant dolls. Not giving Ken a curvy body while giving Barbie, and her friends multiple different body types would be very hypocritical, and it would also go against everything this new body image forward dolls are trying to accomplish in the flipping first place.
