>>11584543 Because we’re in a recession with most on low wages, ever rising grocery/necessity prices and turborent people are either buying into “this hobby as an investment” hype or choosing to buy secondhand or just not caring about new things because they can’t afford scalpers and overpriced nostalgiabait like action figures, Lego and even stuff like Bratz dolls. Normal people are just buying super cheap stuff to give their kids when they’re not being babysat by a screen since both parents have to work full time.
The hobby lifestyle can only come back if wages go up and life necessities go down in price.
