>>5931873I mafe pretty convincing snow by making the shape out of wood but the material doesn't really matter. Then apply a good layer of pvc glue and pour on bicarbonate of soda, put on plenty so as to cover everything abundantly.
Press down vertically with a short, thick and hard brush by tapping quite hard repeatedly then let it dry and turn upside down and tap gently to remove excess.
If necessary add another layer of pvc glue ( this time watered down) and more bicarb.
Repete until happy with result.
Want sand? Paint it sand coloured with an airbrush preferably or a rage brush with very liquid paint, but airbrush is best.
