I built the cheapest 1/35 KV-2 kit I could find, by Zvezda. Putting it together was hell, and I can't wait to go back to some superior Nip engineering folded a thousand times
First time working with lacquer paints beyond a primer, and they're sturdy as fuck and go on way too well. Just a shame I had to import them from Poland because they're apparently not sold here.

Banzai-hobby is alright when it comes to dodging customs, you can ask them to devalue the package and it should come through fine. Their selection isn't fantastic and the site is a bit shit, but they regularly do pretty decent sales. I haven't ordered anything in a while thanks to a sizeable backlog though.
