Using maybe hip wings?This is WIP, but should show how I'm doing it pretty well. I use Flexible Arm B with Gunblade Lance parts here to make a mantle that folds around the shoulders, but you could replace the Gunblade Lance parts with anything that has two pegs. In the back they connect to a Folding Arm backpack.
