Ok, this is not epic.
How the fuck do I use this thing? I have a shitty low-tier airbrush pump that has done me well for about a year now, but there is not pressure regulation on it meaning that blast paint if I try to paint really closely or small details, such as patterns on the sides of WW2 aircraft or small details. This is not idea, so I purchased a air regulator.
>Buy regulator
>Takes approximately 90 years to arrive from China
>Fittings aren't compatable with the hose and pump I have
>Buy new fittings
>Put it all together
>Turn it on
>Air leaks like fuck out of every gap in the regulator
>Check, and it's leaking from where the adapters were screwed in
>Tighten them as hard as I can
>Still leaking air
>ok what the fuck
>Superglue the connections so air cannot possibly escape from the regulator
>Wait for it to dry
>Try it out today
>Air pressure builds, then stops, as it should
>VERY quickly starts losing air pressure and I see the gauge go down
>Pump pumps more air into it
>Regulator loses air
>Repeat for ever
>Try playing around with the regulation setting
>All the way to the left is the same harsh, high pressure
>All the way to the right is the same harsh, high pressure
What the actual fuck is the use of this regulator
Now that I've superglued all the connections, I can't take it off without breaking something. It's losing air, but I don't hear a faintest hiss from any place, and in the end it hasn't solved my pressure issue.
