Dudes wolf has single color plus a decal on pauldron, and painted kneepad.
Unless your counting the entire figure being painted the blueish-grey, then yes, it doesn't seem that much painted less. I'm aware of the incomplete chaos Marines and what-not, but again, this marine doesn't have that much more paint apps than the official stuff, so why wouldn't the official wolf have the yellow pauldron (with likely a SCULPTED symbol), red pauldron with simple pattern, and simple pattern on the kneepad??
