full time job after my best friend went her own way. So there I was fresh out of highschool and with no one in particular to use the money on that I wasn't saving.
I didn't even make it a point to collect, though, Halo stuff was already grabbing my attention slowly, rather than just sticking to writing, drawing and experiencing the games. It was a combination of a fellow co-op student at the place I ended up being hired by recommending some anime to me and showing me her collection, plus a great deal I came across randomly at what is now my main shop for figures, all leading me to collect.
So it's more like girls brought me into it all. That said, 4 years later I have not one figure from the series the one girl recommended and might only finally order my first depending on this coming Friday's reveal. Collection's also not so big either - never went through that impulsive buys phase.
