I always hated the combination of red primer and dunkelgelb the most but now that I have it in front of me I think it would look pretty neat in some city or factory ruins abandoned. Nevertheless brown and green next. I'll use chipping fluid on these as I don't want heavy chipping on the dunkelgelb, it's too contrasting and looks too beaten up for what I have in mind for this one
>>8733040Neat and on track, you might want to start looking into "stressing" the base paintjob in future builds
>>8734197Early or late? I have three jpn tanks to build soonish but they'll all be late war or something I come up with. Mr color has a set for both, early and late, based on their research. Never seen the early set but got myself the late war set CS663 and I'll list the references, but afaik they don't sell them individually so if someone bothers hunting these down look for the set.
For late colors in a similar arrangement as late war german tricolor with soft edges schemes:
>dominant (base color) "parched grass" karekusa-iro (mr color TC15)>"earth brown" tochi-iro (TC13)>"grass green" kusa-iro (TC14)Regardless, other companies have these colors, for example ammomig. I can look color matches to the mr hobby colors if really needed
>>8735861gotta pump up those dots lad, the instructions show a way denser application. With a small simple base it will look less strange
>>8736739Tamiya and heng long, Tamiya has a battle system or had but it's infrared no idea about the chinks but they have a lot of variety and some modern stuff.
Better goggle some forum about 1/16 RC stuff for more info. I wanted one until I realized it would be a very expensive wall decoration as I don't think I would run it around enough
