Bandai T-Rex gacha review Part 2:
I am a little dissatisfied about how the one weird ball joint (one end) with key shaped pin (other end) part works. It's not a very sturdy connection (comes out a lot) and I'm really tempted just to glue it. Mobility won't be affected, because the other end is a simple ball joint.
As I worked on the legs, I started to count the remaining hinge/swivel joints. Then I realized... There's MORE in the kit than you actually need!!! You need 10, but Bandai (mercifully) included 12! Yay!!!
Here's some photos of the completed dino. It's technically the same length of the Big Lots dino skelly, but since the body/tail proportions are different (more accurate on Bandai), the Bandai T-rex is, overall, a smaller dinosaur. It looks GREAT, and appears to be scientifically accurate.
If I were to suggest improvements, I'd say that a harder plastic for the ribcage, and a better replacement for that stupid key-shaped pin would be in order.
