I don't really dig the bright shade of blue they went (darker blue or black would have been better for me) but I am glad that they have gotten rid of the clear plastic because I just don't see the appeal of it. It does make the figures inherently more brittle, especially as they age, so even if you don't hamhand it, they may just break due to transformation. The main issues though are having to try and match paint to plastic, the tones are always going to look off, and the other thing is, why the hell do I need clear windows so that I can look through the windshield and see a bunch of kibble or random bullshit? (Picrel) It's not like they're Binaltech/Altenators with realistic interiors to look at.
