>>8735967If you're looking for one that has a lot of content that you can dig into, I'd recommend getting the Tamagotchi On. It's the most recent version, it's in English, and has a lot of stuff you can do on the device as well as through connecting it to the app.
Though of course, I also recommend the classic generation 1 and 2 models. Not only are they the original models, but they in general give a very good overview about what raising a Tamagotchi is generally like.
