Having to put work into a toy to make it up to standard is obnoxious and this bastard took 4 hours by hand to make. It's not 3D printed.
When did this side mount cannon become a thing and why don't companies either offer an option for top mounting or include a bracket piece for people who dn't like it? Why the fuck did Hasbro sculpt bulky shit on Siege Megatron's arm so you couldn't even drill a 5mm hole on top?
>duh it frees up the elbow joint so fuck your preferred placement or toy accuracy
Then explain this shit being prevalent on static figurines.
>duh just turn the forearm and stop crying, you should shut the hell up and buy what doesn't meet your tastes
Either the arm can't turn like that or you have a bunch of bulky kibble hanging off the bottom of the forearm that would stick out like mad- even Tomy knew this which is why their MP36+ promo shots with the arm turned didn't show the right side, so as to hide all that exposed mess.
A simple plastic angle bracket fixed this easily for NE-01 and would fix it just as well for MP36, Despotron, Newage and every other version. Apollyon did it the right way with a moving panel but they were the only ones. And no one on Shapeways even thinks to make parts that do this.
Quote is George Carlin BTW, who would gladly shout "FUCK YOU" if you think people should bend over and take crap they dislike. He didn't bend the knee to corporations or retail.
